Volume of investments in Kuban has increased by 5% since the beginning of 2023

Since the beginning of 2023, the volume of investments in the economy of the Krasnodar Territory has amounted to 122 billion rubles, which is 5.5% higher than in the same period last year.

«Since the beginning of the year, 122 billion rubles were invested in the region, which is 5.5% higher than in the corresponding period of 2022. We used a well-thought out strategy for providing assistance to business — a whole package of measures has been adopted. By supporting enterprises, we save jobs, employment, and economic growth potential,» said the head of the Kuban, Veniamin Kondratyev.

He also noted that the gross regional product was 103% compared to the same period in 2022.

«All sectors of the economy are showing growth. Industrial production — 111.8%, agricultural production — 104.5%, construction — 109%. Even while the airports are closed, 6+ million people have already visited our resorts this year,» Kondratyev added.

«Municipalities have also contributed to the development of the economy. Although the average growth rate of basic industries in the region is 102.1%, in 25 districts the growth rates are higher — from 104 to 158%. Kavkazskiy, Krasnoarmeyskiy, Starominskaya, Novokubansk and Krylovskaya districts are among the top five,» the report said.
