Veniamin Kondratyev: 40 protocols worth 272 billion rubles were signed at the SPIEF

The Governor of the Krasnodar Territory posted on social media the results of the delegation’s three-day participation at the international economic forum.

«Our program at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is rich, interesting, and productive. We have secured 40 investment agreements for future facilities in the resort and agroindustry, modernization of the fuel and energy complex of the region, housing and municipal services, and industry. The projects will create more than 9 thousand new jobs. I would like to thank my colleagues for the productive cooperation and I wish them success in the implementation of all the agreements,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

The Governor discussed cooperation with his Indian colleagues. Veniamin Kondratyev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India in Russia Vinay Kumar and representatives of an Indian pharmaceutical company. They talked about collaborating in trade, economics, tourism, and education.

The Governor signed a protocol on modernization of the Afipsky oil refinery complex in the Seversky district.

The Governor of the Kuban region and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation Dmitry Krutoy have held a working meeting at the SPIEF–2024. Veniamin Kondratyev mentioned that over 150 Belarusian agricultural machines will be assembled in the region in 2024.

Veniamin Kondratyev also had a meeting with Tatyana Bakalchuk, the CEO of Wildberries.

The Governor of the Krasnodar Territory took part in the main event of the SPIEF–2024, which was the plenary session featuring a speech by the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

Between June 5 and 7, the Deputy Governors of the Krasnodar Territory signed several agreements across different fields.

The International Economic Forum is being held from 5 to 8 June in St. Petersburg. It has become a leading global platform for authorities, members of the business community, and public organizations to meet and discuss the key economic issues. The SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006, it has been held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation.

The 2024 forum’s key theme is ‘The Formation of New Areas of Growth as the Cornerstone of a Multipolar World. More than 12,000 people are attending the forum, including shareholders and top managers of major corporations, recognized experts and analysts, political and public figures, and government officials.
